Bask in the grandeur of historical and costume movies under the starry night: Join the fun starting Saturday at the Wörlitzer Film Festivals. For a week, movies will be screened on the island in the Wörlitzer Park, featuring bold female characters who broke the norms, as revealed by the Dessau-Wörlitz Cultural Council. From now until August 30, "Dear Chef" featuring Juliette Binoche and historical drama "Maria Montessori" are some of the titles you can enjoy. The Wörlitzer Film Festivals have been making waves since 2016.

During the festivities, various genres are showcased, including historical and costume movies. Amidst the diverse lineup, "Other" cinematic categories like documentaries or animations might also be included in the future festivals.
