A valuable e-cargo bike in an abandoned construction apartment led police in Düsseldorf to a kind of drug shop. When officers, searching for the owner of the bike, knocked on the door of the inhabited apartment opposite the construction site and a woman opened it, they saw a man packaging drugs, as a police spokesman reported.

In addition to the drugs, there were also a machete, air guns, and brass knuckles. The 47-year-old, a well-known figure to the police with a criminal record of dozens of entries, was arrested. 440 grams of amphetamine, 560 LSD trips, 2300 euros in cash, explosives, ammunition, and the weapons were seized.

High-end bicycles and e-scooters were found throughout the apartment, even in the bathroom, the police said. They may have been stolen goods exchanged for drugs. The 47-year-old was taken into custody.

During the search, officers discovered a variety of weapons including a machete, air guns, and brass knuckles. The seized weapons added to the list of confiscated items, which included explosives, ammunition, and the large amount of illegal drugs.
