Ignatz Bubis Community Center - Exhibition shows new beginning of the Jewish community in Frankfurt
With interviews with contemporary witnesses, photos and documents, the exhibition "Auf Leben" shows the recent history of the Jewish community in Frankfurt. The community was re-established 75 years ago. According to the community, the exhibition explains how a diverse, pluralistic Jewish life was re-established after the Holocaust. Exhibits and photographs from the private archives of members of the community, which are being shown to the public for the first time, are intended to provide personal and surprising insights. The exhibition will be on display at the Ignatz Bubis Community Center from 20 December 2023 to 26 May 2024. This Tuesday, the show will be presented in a press preview (10.00 am).
