- Exhaust burns woman passes out on motorcycle
Due to burns sustained while mounting a motorcycle, a 35-year-old passenger lost consciousness during a ride in Niederzier (Cologne District). As reported by police, the woman, wearing a short skirt, burned her leg on the exhaust pipe on Monday evening. She informed the 31-year-old driver and expressed her ability to continue the journey.
However, she suddenly lost consciousness during the ride. The driver stopped and attempted to remove the unconscious woman from the motorcycle, but the vehicle fell onto both of their legs in the process.
The woman regained consciousness when the man managed to upright the motorcycle. She was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. The 31-year-old man also sustained minor injuries but declined on-site medical treatment.
The sudden loss of consciousness could potentially be due to the severe pain from the initial burn. Unfortunately, during the attempt to help, the motorcycle fell, causing additional injuries to both the driver and the passenger.
