Excluded from the National Team: Professional Aspiration Leads to Anger Towards Ranknick

- Excluded from the National Team: Professional Aspiration Leads to Anger Towards Ranknick

Soccer star Marco Friedl from Werder Bremen is ticked off about consistently not being included in the Austrian national team. "I'm not getting any communication, no conversations. That's why I've decided to move on from this issue. I'm really pissed off," the 26-year-old defender expressed post-Bundesliga clash against Borussia Dortmund (0:0).

Manager Ralf Rangnick omitted Friedl during the summer at the European Football Championship and eventually included him as a backup for the following two international matches against Slovenia and Norway. "I've talked so much about this already and I don't feel like discussing it further, otherwise, I'll become ridiculous with anger again. It's unfortunate," grumbled Friedl.

Despite being included as a backup in the Austrian national team's matches against Slovenia and Norway, Marco Friedl continues to feel overlooked by the National team. His frustration with the situation led him to focus on his club performances with Werder Bremen.
