Ex-Judge Granted Entry to House During Pandemic: Probation Imposed on Father for Home Intrusion
In April 2020, ol' Dad wanted to pay a visit to a sickly woman in a nursing home near Jena, acting as a pastor and caregiver. But the management didn't approve, thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The judge's kid, who just so happened to be 33, supposedly helped out her old man by arranging for special access to the nursing home through a temporary restraining order. She's said to have given pops a heads-up on how to fill out the paperwork beforehand.
The court found her guilty of bending the rules because she was allegedly keen to make the decision herself to make Dad happy. There was the added complication that she was legally bound as a daughter and could not neutraly handle the case herself.
The prosecution pushed for a year and two months of probation. They also asked for her to cough up 3000 Euros to a charity. Her defense lawyer argued for her innocence. The verdict isn't final.
