Saxony-Anhalt - Every second person knows about the #moderndenken campaign

The state government rates the advertising campaign for Saxony-Anhalt with the slogan "#moderndenken" as positive. Every second person in the state is familiar with the state slogan, the state chancellery announced in response to a question from the Left Party parliamentary group in the state parliament. 54.2 percent stated in an evaluation that they were familiar with the campaign. There was a high level of awareness and positive perception, particularly among young age groups.

The campaign alludes to great ideas that have been developed in the country over the past centuries. Clever minds were ahead of their time, was the background to the idea behind the slogan.

More than two million euros have been spent on the campaign over the past three years. According to the State Chancellery, it is a pity that some tourism initiatives, such as the Romanesque Road or the Heavenly Paths, do not include the federal state in their logos in order to establish a link to Saxony-Anhalt.

The Left Party criticized the state government. "The public image of the campaigns does not match the use of millions of euros," said the parliamentary group's budget policy spokesperson, Kristin Heiß. Unfortunately, Saxony-Anhalt is still a blank spot on the map for many people outside the state.
