Eurowings plane from Stuttgart comes off the runway
A Eurowings plane left the runway after landing at Hamburg Airport on Wednesday evening. No one was injured, a spokeswoman for the airport told the news agency dpa. She was initially unable to say anything about the cause of the incident. The plane had come from Stuttgart. Airport operations continued as normal afterwards. The plane is now being towed away, she said.
After the incident, emergency services were quickly deployed due to the proximity of the runway to residential areas. The air traffic control had to temporarily redirect incoming flights to prevent any air traffic disruptions.
