EuroCup match against Israeli team moved to Belgrade
Basketball Bundesliga team Hamburg Towers will have to travel to Belgrade for its EuroCup away game against Hapoel Tel Aviv. Euroleague Basketball announced on Friday that the Israeli team will play its home games in the international competition in the Serbian capital until further notice due to the war in Gaza. Hamburg lost the first leg against Hapoel at home by 72:111. The game in Belgrade is scheduled for December 27.
The Hamburg Towers will face Hapoel Tel Aviv in their EuroCup away game, now taking place in Belgrade due to the conflicting situation in Gaza. Despite losing the first leg at home, the Basketball Bundesliga team must now adapt and prepare for their match against the Israeli team in the Serbian capital on December 27.
