EU interior ministers deliberate on prolonged safety for Ukrainian refugees.

During an upcoming Interior Minister meeting, there's a discussion scheduled on the enforcement of upcoming asylum regulations. Earlier this year, the EU reached a consensus on overhauling the Common European Asylum System (CEAS). One of the proposed changes involves processing asylum applications at the border. Each member state has two years to incorporate these changes into their national laws. Yet, fifteen nations near Austria and the Netherlands are pushing for stricter guidelines.
