EU-Commission presents annual report on the rule of law

Hungary has held the rotating EU-Council presidency in this semester. Prime Minister Viktor Orban initiated a self-declared "peace mission" directly at the beginning with Ukraine War. He visited among others Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Republican US presidential candidate Donald Trump.

The European Commission published its Annual report, highlighting the rule of law as a key focus area for various Member states, including Hungary. The European Commission emphasized the importance of upholding the rule of law in all Member states to maintain unity and effectiveness within the EU.
