Collision or Mishap - Escaping police control: collides with patrol automobile
A 23-year-old woman crashed into a police car as she tried to escape a checkpoint on the A10 highway at Werder interchange. Two officers got minor injuries. The police had seen her swerving erratically on the highway on a Saturday night. When they tried to stop her, she drove faster instead. The woman's car hit the side of a patrol car that was trying to pass her, according to a statement from the highway police on Sunday. The A10 road was shut down for an hour towards Groß Kreutz. Authorities planned to perform a blood test on the driver, who is currently being investigated.

The A10 highway's Brandenburg section witnessed another incident, with a freeway interchange serving as the site of an accident involving a car and a police patrol car. The woman, trying to avoid a police check, swerved into the patrol car, causing significant damage. The police were conducting patrols to prevent unauthorized entries, a practice leading to fewer such incidents. Following the accident, police officers are investigating the woman's actions.
