- Escape of Cattle Prompts Police Intervention
At a bus stop in the Meißen area, authorities encountered some stray bovines. Law enforcement personnel took measures to prevent these fugitive cows from mingling with traffic, as stated by the authorities. They had made their escape through a damaged enclosure. The officials managed to track down the owner, who lovingly retrieved the animals and fixed the fence in the process. No harm was inflicted.
The authorities noted that the damaged enclosure had an opening of a width of about two feet, likely allowing the bovines to escape. After the bovines were safely returned, the owner mentioned that they had several other livestock of various sizes and needed to ensure all enclosures were secure.
