Erzgebirge Aue also won their second league game, defeating VfL Osnabrück 2:0 (0:0) away. In front of 14,000 spectators at the Stadion an der Bremer Brücke, Aue's new signing Mika Clausen (57') and Boris Tashchy (87') scored the goals.

Aue set the first mark in the 8th minute when Marcel Stefaniak's corner found Marcel Bär, who hit the crossbar. Both teams had several strong offensive actions, but the goalkeepers were able to defuse them. Boris Tashchy had a shot in the second minute of stoppage time, but it remained 0:0 at halftime.

Aue started the second half as they had the first, with Mirnes Pepic's cross finding Bär, who headed it to Mika Clausen (57'). The newcomer also headed it in for his first goal for Aue, making it 1:0. Ten minutes later, Clausen had another dangerous shot on goal, but this time he hit the post. Osnabrück, the relegated team, lacked ideas, and Boris Tashchy made it 2:0 in the 87th minute with a shot from twelve meters.

In the previous league game, FC Erzgebirge Aue also demonstrated their form, securing a 2-0 victory over VfL Osnabrück. Mika Clausen and Boris Tashchy were the goalscorers in that match as well, scoring in the 57th and 87th minutes respectively.
