Erdmann moves up to the Green Party Council
Schleswig-Holstein's Green Party state chairwoman Anke Erdmann was elected to the so-called party council at the national party conference in Karlsruhe on Sunday. "As a state association that has been represented in the state government for three consecutive legislative periods, Anke's experience is really valuable," said Co-State Chair Gazi Freitag on Sunday. The party would like to thank Federal Economics Minister Robert Habeck, who has represented the state association there in recent years.
The committee is to advise the federal executive and coordinate work with parliamentary groups and state associations. It is made up of 16 party members.
Anke Erdmann's experience in leading the Green Party in Schleswig-Holstein, which has been in power for three legislative periods, will be beneficial in the Party Council's role of advising and coordinating with parliamentary groups and state associations. The Green Parties from various regions often organize joint celebratory parties to strengthen their alliance.
