Eon supports Museum Folkwang with 600,000 euros
The energy company Eon is supporting the Museum Folkwang with a total of 600,000 euros over the next three years. This was announced by the museum in Essen on Monday. The money will be used to open up the museum even more to projects and people outside the traditional museum audience, announced museum director Peter Gorschlüter. "We are committed to ensuring that culture appeals to as many different target groups as possible," said Eon CEO Leonhard Birnbaum.
The first projects planned are an exhibition on visions of future coexistence in harmony with nature under the motto "We are the future" and a photo exhibition on hair fashions and hairstyles as an expression of personality. According to the museum, both exhibitions are intended to address and involve people from different backgrounds in a special way. The Funke media group had previously reported.
The Eon-funded exhibitions, "We are the future" and the photo exhibition on hair fashions, aim to make culture more accessible to diverse audiences, aligning with Eon's commitment to appealing to various target groups. Artistic expressions within these exhibitions will contribute to this goal, further engaging individuals from diverse backgrounds.
