Missing person case - Entrepreneur disappeared: Homicide squad investigates
A homicide squad is searching for a businessman from Hüllhorst near Minden who disappeared a month and a half ago. The 62-year-old has been missing since October 18, according to the police in Bielefeld. His white SUV with the registration number MI-JD 9999 has also disappeared.
The missing man's cell phone was located four days later in Melle, Lower Saxony. His car had also been parked there at a sports field in a residential area - properly parked and locked. The car then disappeared a day later.
The missing man's cell phone had been switched off since October 23. It was last located near Schüttdorf in the district of Grafschaft Bentheim in the far south-west of Lower Saxony, close to the Dutch and North Rhine-Westphalian borders, when it had disconnected from the German mobile network.
The "Cayenne" homicide squad is looking for information about the wanted man or his car.
