Energy costs: More money from the state for local television in MV

The eleven local TV stations in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern will receive additional money from the state so that they can pay their energy bills. The cabinet released 75,000 euros from the hardship fund this week, announced state chancellery head Patrick Dahlemann (SPD) on Thursday. Previously, 350,000 euros had already been made available.

The extra funding from the state is attributed to the media sector, specifically local television stations in MV. This decision was made by the government to help alleviate their high energy costs.
