Nearly 100 people, including 6 crew members, were safely evacuated from an Airbus A319 at Stuttgart Airport due to a technical issue. Over the weekend, a smoke alarm went off during the boarding process on the apron. Unfortunately, five ground workers sustained minor injuries from a leaking fluid coming from the plane. They had previously opened the cargo hold, where the hydraulic malfunction occurred. Four of them were sent to the hospital for light injuries. The plane, scheduled to fly to London on Saturday, did not take off. The exact extent of the damage was not immediately known. Nonetheless, there were no additional flight disruptions reported.
