In the outskirts of Zwickau, specifically St. Egidien, an elderly individual found themselves in a sticky situation with their car. The vehicle was stationary, and the elderly person had managed to lock themselves inside, with their keys slipping out of reach between the seat and the door. The local Police Directorate of Zwickau was notified by a concerned son, who had returned from shopping to find his mother unable to exit the car due to dehydration caused by the scorching heat. The fire department was dispatched, and they initially attempted to break a window. However, the situation called for more specialized tools to finally open the door and free the elderly person. After being successfully rescued, they were transported to a hospital as a precaution.

The elderly individual had lived in Zwickau for over four decades, raising their family in this quaint town. Upon hearing the news of their mother's predicament, their daughter traveled from Berlin, a journey of several hours, to offer her support.
