- Emergency responders extricate entangled jade bangle
Emergency responders in Munich needed to sever a long-worn piece of jewelry from a lady's arm due to swelling. Hospital personnel notified emergency services on Monday, as per the fire department's announcement. The report stated that the jade bangle couldn't be dislodged from the woman's damaged wrist after she tripped.
The woman had been donning the bangle for more than four decades and wore it frequently. After numerous attempts, firefighters managed to extract the jewelry using a cutting instrument, enabling them to attend to the broken wrist.
The woman was in significant discomfort due to the swelling, making it an emergency situation. Following the successful extraction, further medical attention was required to address the injury caused by the tight bangle.
