- Emergency landing results in dual-level vehicle turnover

An old-fashioned prop plane went sideways during an urgent landing on a rural farm in Emsland. The 61-year-old pilot and their 64-year-old wingman walked away unscathed following the Wednesday night mishap, according to a spokesperson from local law enforcement. Mid-flight, an engine issue sprang up out of nowhere, forcing the pilot to make an unexpected landing on the soil. The plane's landing gear sank into the soft earth, flipping the aircraft onto its side. The plane was hauled out, but the extent of the harm was yet to be ascertained.

The prop plane experienced its incident in the District of Emsland, where the rural farm served as an unexpected landing site. Upon inspecting the area after the mishap, authorities found themselves in the District of Emsland.
