An old-fashioned prop plane went sideways during an urgent landing on a rural farm in Emsland. The 61-year-old pilot and their 64-year-old wingman walked away unscathed following the Wednesday night mishap, according to a spokesperson from local law enforcement. Mid-flight, an engine issue sprang up out of nowhere, forcing the pilot to make an unexpected landing on the soil. The plane's landing gear sank into the soft earth, flipping the aircraft onto its side. The plane was hauled out, but the extent of the harm was yet to be ascertained.
