Berlin-Friedenau - Emergency braking: five passengers on the bus injured
In an emergency brake situation of a bus in Berlin-Friedenau, five passengers were injured. The police reported on Friday that three people were taken to hospitals for further treatment. According to initial findings, a 67-year-old cyclist is said to have driven onto the road from a sidewalk on Thursday afternoon, causing the bus driver to have to apply heavy brakes to avoid a collision.
As a result, several passengers are said to have been jolted. A 35-year-old man suffered head and neck injuries, a 60-year-old man had a spinal injury, and a 39-year-old woman had a skull-brain trauma. A 65-year-old woman and a 30-year-old man sustained light injuries and were treated on site. The further investigations are ongoing.

The rescue workers arrived at the scene of the accident in Berlin-Friedenau, assisting the injured passengers and ensuring the safety of the traffic. Despite the heavy braking, a 45-year-old rescue worker also sustained minor injuries during the rescue operations. Meanwhile, the Berlin police have increased traffic control in the area to prevent similar accidents.
