Bundesliga 2 - Elversberg's Sickinger extends contract until 2027
SV Elversberg has extended the contract with defensive player Carlo Sickinger until June 30, 2027. The 26-year-old was originally tied to the promoted Bundesliga 2 side until the end of the season.
Sickinger came to Saarland from SV Sandhausen in 2022 and previously played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern. He has started all 14 games this season. "Carlo is a very reliable, ambitious and intelligent player who has proven time and again how valuable he is to our game. He is also an important part of the team with his personality and fits in with our club in every respect," said SVE sporting director Ole Book in a club statement on Friday.
