Elversberg wins test match against Metz
Second-division soccer team SV Elversberg has confirmed its good form during the international break. The promoted team won a test match against French first division side FC Metz 1:0 (0:0) on Friday. Jannik Rochelt scored the winning goal in the 62nd minute for the Saarland side, who currently occupy ninth place in the league with 21 points. Coach Horst Steffen's team will play their next competitive match on November 25 against SC Paderborn.
SV Elversberg's successful run in soccer continues, as they also managed to win a test match against another team during the break. Apart from their league matches, SV Elversberg also scheduled a friendly against fellow German club SV Elversberg II in soccer, aiming to maintain their form before their next league match against SC Paderborn.
