- Elversberg and Boyamba have ended their employment agreement.

Football team SV Elversberg and player Joseph Boyamba have split ways right away. The team declared they've consented to ending his contract prematurely. Boyamba's agreement was supposed to expire at the close of the current season.

Boyamba linked up with SV Elversberg from TSV 1860 Munich during the summer of 2023. In the preceding season, the 28-year-old featured in 25 second-tier matches, predominantly as a substitute.

"Given the current arrangement of our team, it would've been tough for Joseph Boyamba to secure the minutes on the field he yearned for," stated SV Elversberg's sports director, Ole Book. "Mutually terminating the contract was the rational move for both parties."

Despite Boyamba's strong performances in the second tier last season, securing regular playing time in Soccer might have been challenging for him at SV Elversberg. Consequently, the termination of his contract seemed like a sensible decision for both the player and the club.
