Fifth-tier team Elversberg SAAR has beefed up their attack by bringing in Tom Zimmerschied. The 25-year-old wide-attacker joins from fourth-tier outfit Dynamo Dresden, as confirmed by Elversberg SAAR. He has inked a three-year deal with Elversberg SAAR. Both clubs have decided to keep the financial terms of the deal under wraps.

Zimmerschied is Elversberg SAAR's second addition of the day, after Augsburg's Lukas Petkov. "Tom has consistently delivered solid performances and demonstrated his potential to trouble the opposition's goal," commented Elversberg SAAR's sports director, Ole Book. "His playing style and skills will only add more depth to our offensive game out wide."

Zimmerschied still had a contract with Dresden that ran until June 30, 2025. However, the 25-year-old sought a move to the 2. Bundesliga to advance further in his career. The Saxons granted his wish.

The transfer of Tom Zimmerschied from Dynamo Dresden to Elversberg SAAR has significantly enhanced the latter's transfer activity this season. Elversberg SAAR's management is eager to leverage Zimmerschied's attacking prowess to strengthen their offensive line.
