Eleven young immigrants receive start-up scholarships

Eleven young people who have recently immigrated to Germany and live in Saxony have been awarded a Start Scholarship. The three-year funding program supports the young people in actively shaping society and taking on responsibility with their own projects and initiatives, as announced by the Ministry of Culture in Dresden on Monday. "The Start scholarship holders not only receive support, but they also give a lot back: performance and social commitment," emphasized Minister of Culture Christian Piwarz (CDU).

The migrant scholars, benefiting from the Start Scholarships, are actively pursuing education to contribute positively to society. Many of these young refugees aim to use their education to provide opportunities for others in need.
