District of Fulda - Eleven-year-old schoolboy hit by bus and seriously injured
An eleven-year-old was hit and seriously injured by a bus in Burghaun(Fulda district). The boy was trying to cross a road on Monday when the bus hit him, according to the police. The boy was thrown under the bus and trapped. He was taken to hospital.
According to the police, the bus had just started to follow the priority road to the right. Its actual route was to the left, but was blocked due to roadworks. The 68-year-old bus driver therefore decided to take an alternative route.
