Bus accident - Eleven people slightly injured in accident with school bus
At an accident involving a school bus in Herxheim, eleven people were lightly injured, among them six school children. The bus drove into oncoming traffic for unknown reasons and collided with several vehicles, as the Police Landau reported.
At the time of the accident, according to the police, approximately 50 school children were on the bus, none of whom had to be taken to the hospital stationarily. The damage amounts to around 25,000 Euro. An expert is now being called in to determine the cause of the accident.
The incident took place in the Rhineland-Palatinate town of Herxheim. Despite the collision with multiple vehicles, only six school children sustained minor injuries. The local police are investigating the bus accident in Landau. Despite the numerous vehicles involved, no serious accidents were reported apart from the bus incident.
