Eleven Christmas themed worlds open their doors in Lübeck
The Christmas markets in Lübeck open on Monday. Lovingly decorated stalls with bratwurst, mulled wine, candy floss and Christmas decorations will be tempting visitors until December 30. The Christmas town officially opens on November 27 with the "Advent Illumination" in St. Marien (4.30 pm) and a procession of lights through the old town. Lübeck's eleven Christmas markets are open from November 27 to December 30, while the arts and crafts market at the Heilig-Geist-Hospital is open from December 1 to 10.
