Emergencies - Elevator does not stop: Father trapped with baby
A father was trapped with his one-year-old son in his arms in an elevator that did not stop and therefore kept going up and down. The man's wife, who was waiting for her husband on the first floor of the apartment building with four small children, called the fire department on Wednesday. The emergency services were able to stop the elevator with an emergency switch so that "father and son could leave their moving prison", according to the statement. Both remained unharmed. It was not initially known how many laps the two had to make in the elevator.

The incident occurred in Upper Bavaria, a region within the larger state of Bavaria. Following the emergency, the grateful father and his one-year-old son were safely reunited with the mother and their other children on the ground floor.
