In the northern and eastern parts of the state, the second most severe warning level is now in effect, as indicated by data from the state forest service. Twelve out of thirty forest districts currently fall under wildfire risk level four. In the southern region, only the Heldburg forest district is affected. Consequently, some publicly accessible barbecue spots and fire pits might be closed. Thuringia boasts five different wildfire risk levels. At the highest threat level, for instance, sensitive forests may be shut down entirely.
