In an unfortunate incident on the Delbrück bypass, situated northwest of Paderborn, a 75-year-old motorist met with a fatal accident on Sunday. The account suggests that for reasons unbeknownst, the man's vehicle swerved off the road to the right. The car eventually journeyed into a ditch. Subsequently, the driver was transported to a hospital, only to succumb to his injuries later, as per authorities' reports. Miraculously, the 77-year-old passenger in the vehicle escaped unscathed.
The incident left the road closed for several hours due to the accident's investigation. Witnesses at the scene were shocked by the unfortunate turn of events.
