City of Stendal under Scrutiny - Elderly man rescued from submerged vehicle in river by Good Samaritans

Two folks saved an elderly chap, aged 73, in Seehausen (District of Stendal), after he drove his vehicle into a river. The cops stated that the driver veered off the road to the right close to a bridge around Monday morning, leading him into the water. The car started to sink as two passersby spotted it and attempted to drag it ashore. The police reported that the man managed to escape from the car with the assistance of the pedestrians, yet the car, already submerged in water, went under soon afterward. The man displayed no apparent injuries, but was transported to the medical facility as a safety measure. The fire department retrieved the car from the water.
