In a residential blaze that occurred in Strausberg, located within Märkisch-Oderland County, a 77-year-old gentleman endured severe injuries during the night. The local fire department received a notification around 1 a.m., signaling a ground-level fire at Peter-Goering Street, as per police reports. A particular apartment was swallowed up by flames without a discernible reason. During the firefighting endeavors, a 77-year-old man was pulled from the burning building and transported to a hospital, battling critical injuries.
According to a police representative, the impacted apartment is now deemed uninhabitable. Subsequent investigations have been launched in an attempt to uncover the origins of the inferno.
The police representative stated, "We are adding extra resources to our investigation, as the apartment is now considered unsuitable for habitation."
