The elderly biker was airlifted to a specialty hospital on Friday, as per a police release on Sunday. According to initial reports, the cyclist was pedalling through a roundabout when she didn't see an approaching car. The driver of the vehicle, aged 67, had the right-of-way, yet was unable to avoid a collision, even after braking. Fortunately, the car driver escaped the incident unscathed.
