Eintracht Frankfurt passed its toughest test with flying colors. The Bundesliga side won 5:2 (4:0) against FSV Frankfurt on the occasion of their 125th anniversary, having already secured a victory against TSV Steinbach Haiger earlier in the day. Coach Dino Toppmöller scheduled the match at short notice to give his entire squad some much-needed game time.

As part of the "Eintracht in the Region" campaign, the top-flight team faced their neighbors FSV for the first time in seven years. The goals against the Regional League side at the Bornheimer Hang were scored by Tuta (26th minute), Omar Marmoush (29th), new signing Nathaniel Brown (40th), and Igor Matanovic (34th/71st). The home team replied with goals from Sho Sannomiya (58th) and George Iorga (66th).

Earlier in the day, Toppmöller invited a closed-door test match against TSV Steinbach Haiger. The 4:1 (1:0) victory at the Eintracht training ground was secured by Hugo Ekitiké, Eric Junior Dina Ebimbé, Aurélio Buta, and Ellyes Skhiri.

Frankfurt's final warm-up before the first round of the DFB-Pokal will take place on Saturday (21:00 CET) against Spanish top team FC Valencia.

In the context of preparations for the DFB-Pokal, Frankfurt also defeated TSV Steinbach in a test match. The upcoming challenge for Eintracht will be a test match against the Spanish La Liga side, FC Valencia, serving as their final warm-up before the first round of the DFB-Pokal.

Despite the Bundesliga side's impressive win against TSV Steinbach, the most significant "Test match" for Frankfurt will be the encounter with FC Valencia, representing a true test of their form and potential against international competition.
