Eintracht meeting to be concluded in the new year

The general meeting of second-division soccer club Eintracht Braunschweig, which was canceled on Friday evening due to technical problems, is to be resumed at the beginning of 2024. "We were all surprised by the technical difficulties, especially in view of the fact that the test runs in the run-up to the ordinary general meeting ran without any complaints," President Nicole Kumpis was quoted as saying in a club statement on Saturday.

As a stable broadcast of the live stream and reliable voting were not possible, the hybrid meeting, at which Kumpis was also scheduled to be re-elected, had to be adjourned after just under 90 minutes. The causes of the technical problems will be "clarified as quickly as possible", the association announced.

Meetings of the executive committee and the entire board are planned for next week at Eintracht. They will be informed about the results of the investigation into the causes, the new date for the continuation of the general meeting will be set and the legal framework will be discussed.

Despite the unexpected technical issues during Eintracht Braunschweig's general meeting in Bundesliga 2, which resulted in the cancellation of the live stream and voting, the club has scheduled a resumption of the meeting at the beginning of 2024. To ensure a stable broadcast and reliable voting, the team will closely examine the causes of the technical problems.
