Eintracht battles in Helsinki for a place in Europe this winter

Eintracht Frankfurt could take a big step towards a place in the round of 16 with a win in the second leg of the Conference League at HJK Helsinki on Thursday (18:45/RTL+). The Hessian second-placed team in Group G will be without injured defensive players Robin Koch and Tuta. The Bundesliga club won the first leg against the Finnish record champions 6:0. A win in Helsinki would secure Eintracht a place in the play-offs for a place in the round of 16 and a third-place finish in the Europa League. As group winners, Frankfurt would go straight through to the knockout round. This is likely to be decided in the match against PAOK Thessaloniki on November 30.

Eintracht Frankfurt aims to build on their dominating 6:0 victory from the first leg against HJK Helsinki in the Conference League. With injured defenders Robin Koch and Tuta unavailable for Thursday's game, Eintracht Frankfurt's Soccer team will still look to secure their place in the play-offs for a spot in the round of 16, potentially even aiming for a third-place finish in the Europa League.
