- Eighteen Siamese felines liberated from forsaken residence – Intervention
The Local Animal Control Unit took away 18 Siamese felines from a disregarded flat in Berlin-Mitte. The authority got the ball rolling on proceedings under the Animal Protection Act against the property owner, as reported by the local council. The man had disregarded a prior binding mandate and had cats that were multiplying unrestrained. The critters had already been apprehended the previous Wednesday.
Breeding-related abnormalities
Some of the felines displayed deformities like misaligned limbs, spinal irregularities, or eye issues stemming from unregulated breeding. Besides, not a single cat received appropriate veterinary care. At present, they're being treated at the Berlin animal shelter clinic and a few might need surgery. Officials are searching for a new, fitting home for the Siamese cats.
The unregulated breeding practices of the property owner led to other health issues in the Siamese felines. Despite the urgent need for veterinary care, none of the cats received appropriate medical attention.
