Law enforcement activity - Eight people get hurt following an argument in Ludwigshafen's pedestrian area.

In a disagreement in Ludwigshafen's pedestrian zone, eight individuals sustained minor injuries. A 54-year-old father attempted to retrieve his daughter, resulting in a confrontation with her five teenage friends, according to a statement from authorities on Wednesday. This escalated into a physical fight.

The reason behind the conflict on Tuesday is currently unclear to the police. A 15-year-old girl employed pepper spray, causing the eight individuals to suffer minor injuries and seek medical attention from the rescue team. Everyone involved received a warning. The minors were handed over to their parents, as per the police.

In response to the incident, the pedestrian zone was temporarily closed for a police operation. The police in Rhineland-Palatinate are investigating the circumstances surrounding the conflict, as the reason for the argument remains unclear. Despite the escalation and use of pepper spray, no charges have been pressed against the 15-year-old girl as of yet.
