- Educational establishment momentarily vacated due to perceptible gas odor.

Due to a pungent odor of gas and breathing discomfort affecting both students and teachers, a school situated in Neubrandenburg had to be momentarily vacated. The evacuees were housed in a gymnasium, as reported by a city representative. There were six individuals who reported breathing issues and received on-site treatment. The school subsequently reopened, and lessons at the Regional School East "Am Lindetal" resumed as usual.

Besides emergency responders and firefighters, the law enforcement was also present at the scene to investigate the occurrence. According to the representative, only a single room had been impacted, and firefighters were able to access it without needing respiratory equipment. As a safety measure, the room will be cleaned thoroughly. Previously, news outlets had covered the incident.

The emergency evacuation necessitated relocation of classes to the nearby gymnasium, making it temporarily a makeshift learning space for the school's students and teachers. Following the incident, the school administration decided to conduct regular inspection of the school's ventilation system to prevent such occurrences in the future.
