- Eckert & Ziegler unveils a fresh office structure in Dresden
Eckert & Ziegler, a radiopharmaceutical and medical tech corporation, has officially opened its new 1,700 square meter production facilities in Dresden. As per Saxon Minister of Economics Martin Dulig (SPD), this fresh construction symbolizes Eckert & Ziegler's prosperous growth in the area, and the advantageous circumstances this locale provides. The company is also working hand in hand with local science institutions and nuclear medicine firms to establish Dresden as a prominent radiopharmacy hub in Europe.
The Dresden-Rossendorf facility houses high-tech infrastructure for manufacturing and distributing radiopharmaceuticals on a global scale, as well as services for managing and disposing of radioactive items in cancer treatment. In regard to this, Eckert & Ziegler is planning to invest around 50 million euros in expanding the production site. As reported by the city of Dresden, these newly constructed buildings serve as a base for the company's future development and pave the way for up to 100 additional expert positions in mechanical engineering and radiopharmacy within Saxony.
