Defender Jakob Lewald won't be extending his deal with third-league side Dynamo Dresden, whose contract expires come summer. Instead, the 25-year-old will make the switch to fellow league competitor SV Sandhausen, as per Wednesday's announcement by Dynamo.

Lewald first joined Dynamo Dresden from Viktoria Berlin in 2022's summer, wherein he became part of the first squad of the Saxons.
