UEFA European Football Tournament - During the England-Serbia match, beer contained less alcohol.
During the crucial soccer match of the English national team at European Championships on Sunday against Serbia, there will be beer available at Gelsenkirchen with low alcohol content. This information came from "The Sun" through a police spokesperson. The organizers have no such plans for any other group-stage match. Anticipated is a big crowd of supporters from both nations at the Schalke stadium.
Already during the beginning of the week, signs with the prices have been hung above a beverage stand at the Gelsenkirchen stadium. A half liter of beer will cost fans seven euros, whether it's the alcoholic, alcohol-free or Radler variation.
It's expected that the prices will be the same in all EM stadiums, and the respective organizers are responsible for the pricing policy in the fan zones.
In comparison, a half-liter of beer at the Bundesliga stadiums usually costs less and is around five euros, while Bitburger is a partner of UEFA for the EM.
