Award - Dunja Hayali receives Radio Regenbogen Award
Journalist and TV presenter Dunja Hayali is to receive a Radio Regenbogen Award in April. The 49-year-old is "the voice of versatility and commitment on German television", Radio Regenbogen announced on Thursday in Rust, north of Freiburg.
The other award winners include violinist David Garrett, singer James Arthur ("Say You Won't Let Go"), cabaret artist Torsten Sträter and the German band Fury in the Slaughterhouse ("Won't Forget These Days").
Comedian and actress Mirja Boes will host the awards ceremony on April 19 at Europa-Park, as reported by the private radio station from Baden-Württemberg. It has been presenting the unendowed awards in various categories to celebrities from film, television, music and show since 1998. This year's so-called Honorary Award went to "Wetten, dass...?" creator Frank Elstner.
