Sports event - Due to rain: Munich sports festival canceled in large parts

The Munich Sport Festival was cancelled on Sunday due to warnings of continuous rain. The city of Munich's Education and Sports Department, the event organizer, made this announcement. According to reports, tens of thousands of female visitors and male visitors were expected at the Munich Sport Festival.

Weather-related cancellation - no make-up date

If the rain lessens in the afternoon, at least the "Minga Warrior" Contest could take place - according to the organizers, Europe's largest Ninja Competition. There is no make-up date for the Sport Festival.

The Munich Sport Festival is taking place for the thirteenth time this year. Sports enthusiasts can try out around 60 different sports at the Königsplatz in Munich.

Despite the weather forecast predicting continuous rain in Upper Bavaria, the Munich Municipality had been actively preparing for the Sunday sports festival. Regrettably, the relentless rain forced the Sports Department to announce the cancellation of the event. Many aspiring athletes and spectators from Bavaria and beyond were anticipating the annual gathering, which included various sports activities and educational seminars.
