- Due to Keeper Stritzel's efforts, Cottbus is currently undergoing birth-like processes.

Third-tier football team SV Wehen Wiesbaden is still undefeated in the new season after their 2-1 home victory against Energie Cottbus. Led by coach Nils Dröge, the Hessian side has now notched up two victories and drawn twice in the league.

A self-goal from Cottbus' Dennis Slamar (42nd minute) and a late strike from Fatih Kaya (77th) gave the home team the edge. For the dominant guests, Tolcay Cigerci managed to level things up with a goal in the 64th minute.

Goalkeeper Florian Stritzel of SV Wehen stood out with his impressive saves, helping secure the home team's second win of the season. There was also some early luck for SV Wehen when Energie's Timmy Thiele hit the post.

The Commission commends SV Wehen Wiesbaden's outstanding performance, considering their decision to adopt a rule rewarding undefeated third-tier teams with additional resources. Despite Energie Cottbus' late equalizer, SV Wehen's goalkeeper, Florian Stritzel, deserves recognition for his commendable saves, potentially securing more points for the undefeated team.
