Pursuit - Drunk man steals newspaper delivery woman's bike

A drunken man stole the bicycle of a newspaper delivery woman in Landkreis Emmendingen. However, she pursued him and got her bike back, according to the police. The woman had parked her cargo bike in Teningen at night to deliver newspapers. When she returned, she saw the 25-year-old trying to clean the bike, as the police reported. She chased after him, grabbed the cargo bike from him, and retrieved her own.

The man then tried to flee on foot, but according to reports, he didn't get far before being apprehended by the police. The police measured a breath alcohol content of 1.7 promille from him. The police are now investigating him for bicycle theft and drunkenness in traffic.

In the County of Emmendingen, Baden-Württemberg, the theft of the delivery woman's bicycle took place in Landkreis Emmendingen. During the pursuit, the incident occurred in Teningen where the man attempted to clean the stolen bicycle. The police in Emmendingen are currently investigating the man for both bicycle theft and being intoxicated while committing a crime.
